Common Dental Emergencies

Same-day help for pain, trauma, broken teeth, and infections.

Toothache

Sudden or lingering tooth pain needs a look today. Call (832) 429-2289 and we will get you in as soon as we can.

Broken or Chipped Tooth

A cracked or chipped tooth can be saved more easily when we see it quickly. Bring any broken pieces if you have them.

Dental Trauma

Sports or accident injuries to the mouth need prompt care. We assess the teeth, gums, and bite and stabilize what we can.

Lost Filling or Crown

A lost filling or crown leaves the tooth unprotected. We can recement or replace it and ease the sensitivity.

Swelling or Abscess

Facial swelling or an abscess is urgent. Call now so we can treat the infection and get you comfortable.

Knocked-Out Tooth

If a permanent tooth is knocked out, keep it moist and call immediately. Time matters for the best chance to save it.

Sharp Sensitivity

Sharp pain with hot, cold, or biting can mean a crack or deep decay. We will find the cause and treat it.

Cracked Tooth

A crack can start small and worsen. We evaluate whether a filling, crown, or other treatment is the conservative next step.

Food Trapped / Infection Risk

Food packed under the gums or around a broken tooth can turn into an infection. We clean the area and treat the tooth.

Wisdom Tooth Pain

Wisdom-tooth pain and swelling can flare quickly. We evaluate whether we can treat it here or need to plan an extraction.

Loose Denture or Bridge

A loose denture or bridge makes eating hard and can irritate tissue. We can reline, repair, or plan a replacement.

Bleeding That Won’t Stop

Bleeding after an injury or extraction that will not slow down needs a same-day check. Call the office right away.

After-Hours Pain

Office hours are Mon–Tue 10 AM–6 PM, Wed–Fri 9 AM–5 PM and Sat 9 AM–3 PM. If you are in pain outside office hours, call (832) 429-2289.

Infection or Fever

A dental infection with fever is urgent. Contact us so we can start treatment and advise next steps.

Extraction When Needed

When a tooth cannot be saved, we offer simple and surgical extractions and talk through replacement options.

TMJ (Jaw Pain)

Jaw pain and TMJ discomfort can come from clenching or a bite issue. We evaluate and discuss night guards or other options.

Worn or Fractured Teeth

Worn or fractured teeth can be rebuilt with fillings, onlays, or crowns after we check the remaining structure.

Numbness After Injury

Numbness in the lip, chin, or tongue after trauma should be evaluated promptly.

Child Dental Emergency

Kids chip, knock, and ache too. We see children for urgent dental problems and keep the visit calm.

Pregnancy Dental Urgent Care

Dental pain during pregnancy should not wait. Tell us you are pregnant so we can plan the safest next step.

After Treatment Concerns

Pain, swelling, or questions after a filling, extraction, or other visit — call us and we will help.

Bleeding Gums or Loose Tooth

Bleeding gums or a loose tooth should be checked promptly so we can stabilize the area and plan next steps.
